New Patient Information

Your Initial Visit

Once the new patient forms are completed and reviewed by the doctor, a chiropractic examination will be performed.  This includes a series of exams to assess your current situation and may include neurological, orthopedic, and postural evaluations.  X-Rays may be taken in order to help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you.  Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, you will be given a treatment plan that is specific to you.  This may include a spinal decompression treatment, adjustments, physical therapy, and/or massage therapy.

Phase I: Pain Relief

If you are in pain, the first goal is to help you feel better.  Depending upon the nature and severity of your issue, a typical treatment plan may include care 2-3 times per week for a period of 4 to 12 weeks.

Phase II: Restoring Your Body

During this phase of corrective / restorative care, the goal is to allow your muscles and tissues to heal completely.  Your care may consist of 4-8 times per month.

Phase III: Keep Everything Good

Once your body has healed, it’s important to continue having periodic adjustments to prevent issues from re-occuring.  Usually, this only requires a quick visit to see us 1-4 times per month or as your lifestyle and goals dictate.
